Manjunath NS : The sensational drummer and percussionist from Bengaluru, Karnataka is becoming a Gappu Cajon Artist through the launching of our special “Paco de Lucia” edition Cajon and other percussions from Gappu.

Among the emerging talents in the huge sky of percussionists from India, the name,
“Manju Drums” has already become one of the brightest stars. His DOWNBEATS talent flourished by the scholarly guidance from his masters , making him the youngest among the very few musicians in the country who joined the BEARING EDGE of both South Indian and North Indian Classical rhythm forms on the jazz drum kit.

Featured at prestigious concert venues and recording studios in more than 25 countries, working with artists from various genres of music and performing arts from Indian Classical, Indian Cinema, Dance, Theatre, TV Reality shows , studio recording sessions, Jazz-Fusion to many cross cultural collaborations helped him BOOM as a promising musician at a very young age. His latest achievement is that he was one among the 40 plus hand picked musicians from all over the world and the only percussionist from India who got invited to perform through out six months at the massive “EXPO-2020, Dubai”.

Gappu approached Manjunath to share his vision with the team and participate in Gappu’s initiative by launching its recent creation, the “Paco de Lucia” Cajon, a cajon with guitar strings inside. We have crafted this special edition cajon to pay homage to the legendary Spanish virtuoso Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia and his godly contribution to the world of music.

We are extremely pleased to announce that, Manjunath will be present with Gappu in every stage, stepping forward to the future. He will work with us as a Gappu Cajon artist and assist us to let people understand our various products and also he will influence them with his unique talent and perceptions on percussions. We are quite excited by making the collaboration happen since we found the opportunity to connect and work with such a versatile and humble musician in the current Indian percussion circuit.
