Ganesh Bojji ’s musical journey kicked off as a Tasha player in a traditional Maharashtrian ‘pathak’(ensemble) during his teen years. From there, he went on to become a master classical Djembe player under the guidance and training of Mr. Nitin Satav and and a luminary in the percussion world, Maestro Taufiq Qureshi. Today, Ganesh Bojji is not only a percussion aficionado and performer who has shared stage with eminent personalities like Ut.Taufiq Qureshi, Greg Ellis and Sivamani, but also a teacher and VMC certified drum circle facilitator trained under Vasundhara Das & Roberto N. His recent endeavour with Damaru Singapore School of Music, where he conducted a Dhol-Tasha workshop, Drum Circle and shared his insights on percussion and its relation to the Maharashtrian culture, was loved and appreciated by all. He as Also Played in ISL 2014 for opening ceremony. He is been actively playing in recording and in various projects.
Ganesh Bojji recently recorded for Indo France La-Taal Music Project affiliated by French Govt. Ganesh Bojji is also playing with various band like ProjektMAWU , Rhythms United , Djembers , FineArtz etc
